Privacy notice

This website is a handful of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, has no user accounts and no forms. Nothing you do here is tracked, and nothing about your visit is sent to anyone else.
What this notice covers
It covers this website, gadgetdesign.eu, and nothing more. Programs and services published under the GADGET Design name have their own, separate privacy notices wherever they handle personal data. Those are independent of this one, and this notice does not describe them.

What is processed, why, and for how long
You are not asked for any personal data in order to read this site. Two things are still worth naming, because they happen on every website:

Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser - no local storage, no session storage, no fingerprinting. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
No analytics and no third-party content
There is no Google Analytics or any other visitor measurement on this site. No advertising, no profiling, no tracking pixels, and nothing is sold or passed on to anyone.
The pages also load nothing from third-party servers. The typeface is served from this site rather than from a font service, so your IP address does not reach one.
Who else sees it
The site runs at our hosting provider, who processes the server log only on our behalf, as a data processor. No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Links to other sites
Some links lead off this site, for example to itch.io. Once you follow one, you are on that company's site, under its own privacy policy. We have no control over, and no access to, what they collect.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, for its correction or erasure, for its use to be restricted, or for it in a machine-readable form. You may also object to processing we base on legitimate interest. Write to dev@gadgetdesign.eu and we will answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to a data protection authority. In Hungary that is the NAIH (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, naih.hu), or the authority of the EU country where you live. You may also go to court.
Automated decisions
This site makes no automated decisions about you and does no profiling.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
